Backend Engineer – Social Impact Healthcare Software (Node.js/Java)

We are looking for Backend Engineers who thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment. As a key member of our mission-driven team, you will help improve the healthcare system within The Netherlands by building software for doctors, hospitals, and patients. Together, we empower people across the Netherlands to take control of their health data.

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of software projects, utilizing Node.js and Java in our tech stack
• Communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders within your scrum team, such as product owners, frontend teams, and platform users
• Work with software architects to design new applications that support the healthcare ecosystem

What You’ll Need:

• A completed Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Node.js or Java and/or any other backend language

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservice architecture, Kubernetes, Helm, Typescript, Spring Boot, FHIR, and other cutting-edge technologies
