Backend Engineer – Social Impact Healthcare Software (Node.js/Java)

We are looking for Backend Engineers who thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment. As a key member of our mission-driven team, you will help improve the healthcare system within The Netherlands by building software for doctors, hospitals, and patients. What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of software projects, utilizing Node.js and Java in our tech stack
• Communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders within your scrum team, such as product owners, frontend teams, and platform users
• Work with software architects to design new applications that support the healthcare ecosystem

What You’ll Need:

• A completed Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent work experience
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Node.js or Java and/or any other backend language

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservice architecture, Kubernetes, Helm, Typescript, Spring Boot, FHIR, and other cutting-edge technologies
