How we use AI
How we use AI in recruitment
Recruitment starts with understanding what you want from your next role. Gillnet, Solvism's own AI sourcing product, supports the search.
Finding people and receiving applications
We source people who may be interested in a client vacancy and approach them through LinkedIn. Being contacted about a role is different from applying for it.
If you apply directly, your application enters that role's recorded process. The application notice explains who handles your data and for what purpose.
A conversation about what you want
We speak with you about your experience, interests and what you want from a next role, then discuss suitable client vacancies. We support interview preparation, feedback and offer discussions. You choose whether to take the next step.
Permission before an introduction
We do not present your identifiable profile to a hiring company without your explicit written permission for that company and role. Applying directly for a role is your request to handle that application, not permission for another company or role.
Where your data goes, and where it does not
AI-assisted drafting and scoring send your text to Anthropic, a provider in the United States, to help draft a summary. Your email address and phone number are stripped out before that text is sent. Your name is not, so assume your name can appear in text processed in the United States. The databases and the vector store holding your records run on Solvism's own machines in the Netherlands. That transfer is governed by a data processing agreement using an approved EU transfer mechanism, either Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
What we hold, why, how long we keep it, and every right you have is set out in full on the candidate data page.
What you can ask for
A human-only review. You can ask for a person to look at your application with no AI involved, and give their own assessment. Just ask.
To see what we hold. You can ask for a copy of your data and how we use it, and you can object to us processing it.
An explanation of the logic. You can ask, in plain terms, whether AI was used in handling your information and, if so, how it affected the process.
To do any of these, email jonathan@solvism.nl, or read the full candidate data page first.
