Founder, Solvism
- Understanding the role and running the search for technical and IT talent.
- Speaking with candidates and working with the hiring team.
- Leaving the written requirements, interview plans and records with the client.
Working together
You can expect a straightforward conversation.
Sometimes I join an established recruitment team. Sometimes I’m the person building the function. In either case, I start by understanding the work: what the business needs, what the person joining will be responsible for, and how the team will decide.
If the brief is unclear, I’ll ask questions. If the requirements and the search aren’t lining up, I’ll bring that into the conversation. When something needs to change, I prefer to discuss it early.
That openness matters on both sides of hiring. I want to understand what a candidate is looking for, as well as what your team needs from them. Both deserve a clear picture of the role and a useful conversation about whether it makes sense.
I work best with people who are clear about their goals, willing to share feedback and comfortable giving each other responsibility.
How I approach hiring
I care about how the team makes the decision.
My work has included running recruitment as the sole talent acquisition owner, hiring across countries, implementing recruitment systems and coaching hiring managers.
Across that work, I’ve put a lot of attention into the questions interviewers ask and the evidence they use afterward. What does someone need to demonstrate? What did we actually learn? What still needs clarification?
I developed HireBetter to give that work a practical structure: agreed criteria, prepared interviewers and scorecards that help people explain their assessment.

What stays with your team
I embed, build, and hand it back.
While we’re recruiting, we may also need to improve the role brief, organize the interview process or make the hiring system more useful.
I write that work down. The criteria, interview materials and records stay with your team, along with a clear account of what still needs attention.
That’s the intention behind Solvism’s mission:
We fill the roles, and we level up the team that will fill the next ones.
See what working together involves. Gillnet, Solvism’s own AI sourcing product, supports the search within that work.
The candidate standard
Nobody should leave an interview process without knowing how they did, and why.
That is the intended standard, not a guarantee about a process Solvism does not control alone. Written criteria and recorded evidence make a useful answer possible.
Next step
Tell me what you’re working on.
Which roles do you need to fill? What’s working in recruitment, and what would you like to change?
Let’s start there.
